Statistics show that there is a growing number of singles both in our society and in the church. And because singleness, like marriage, is a key part of a person’s identity, it is important to think about singleness with the same clarity and thought that goes into thinking about marriage. The Bible sets out a high view of the single life and it is important for us to understand how God views singleness because that affects both how singles live and how those who are married should interact with those who are single.
