Acts 2:42-47
As the old saying goes, you can pick your friends but you can’t pick your family. Sometimes we love our family and sometimes we wonder why God put us into the family that He did. Yet regardless of what your family was like, it had a profound influence on who you are. When you come to faith in Jesus, you become part of another family – the family of God. It also has a profound influence on who you become. And, like all families, the family of God has certain values that they hold in common, so that we can live and thrive as a family. Today we want to examine what those values are and what it means to live together as brothers and sisters in Christ.
