How do we live with live for God in a changing culture, especially when some of the changes run directly opposed to how God calls us to live?

All of our culture is going through some fairly significant changes especially when we look at the attitudes and values our society has towards life. The fact of the matter is there is a huge shift in values going on right now and some of them are directly opposes to values we would find in Scripture. Some of these values are being enshrined in laws. As followers of Jesus that raises some questions for us. The question is this, How do we live with live for God in a changing culture, especially when some of the changes run directly opposed to how God calls us to live?
